Sibat Expo Abidjan Construction Fair will be held in 2021 in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory Coast, at La Caistab Fair and Event Center on October 20-22. In addition to the Building Materials and Construction Machinery sectors, companies from the Electricity and Energy sector will also participate.

The government also launched important infrastructure projects such as roads and bridges in the country. The government set-up a committee to promote Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP) that invites companies to negotiate and bid on work on a variety of infrastructure projects. In the coming years, the building and construction market is expected to continue to grow, given the government‘s priority of addressing the housing shortage and crumbling infrastructure nationwide. Stronger macroeconomic growth and foreign investment (from private and public lending institutions) suggest there wiil be a robust construction sector for the foreseeable future.
